Involuntary manslaughter was charged against Deborah Lundstrom after an 8-month-old died in her care last week.

Deborah Lundstrom is an operator of the Springfield childcare who was arrested in connection with the death of an infant in her care.
She was charged with a total of 10 counts.
That is first-degree involuntary manslaughter and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death.
And eight counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and operating a child care facility without a license.
However, it is assumed that a child care facility in Missouri can operate without a license. But, it can only care for a maximum of six children. At her daycare, Lundstrom was responsible for nine children.
Dirk Rowe, a neighbor, was aware that Lundstrom ran a daycare, but claims to have never seen children outside the house.
According to court records, Lundstrom is being held on a $100,000 bond and has yet to be assigned an attorney.
