Who Is Alexis Avila ? Story of a woman who has been released from jail after being accused of throwing her newborn in a dumpster

Alexis Avila is a teenager who has been accused of disposing of her newborn baby boy in a trash bin. 

Luckily, the baby was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A police report confirms Alexis’s age to be 18 years old.

She has now been arrested and would likely face charges of attempted murder and child abuse.

Alexis, an 18-year-old teenager from Hobbs, New Mexico confessed that she tossed the newborn baby boy in the trash.

One of the police officials stated in the press conference that it was revealed Avila did not know she was pregnant until she gave birth.

On 6th January, she sought medical treatment for abdominal pain and discovered she was pregnant.

The next day, she delivered the baby in her parents’ bathroom.

In her confession, Avila admitted to cutting the umbilical cord and placing the baby in a white trash bag.

She then proceeded to place the baby in the black trash bag.

According to Avila, she was panicked and had no idea what to do or who to call in order to get help.

After giving birth, she cut the umbilical cord, wrapped the baby in a towel, and placed it in a trash bag.

Avila threw the baby in the dumpster behind a Rig Outfitters store where the walls were equipped with a camera.

The owner of the store later shared the surveillance video with the police and uploaded a part of it online.

The video of that part doesn’t include the face or images of the baby.

The first video was captured at around 2 p.m. local time.

The woman who is believed to be Alexis Avila in the video drives up to the three dumpsters in a white vehicle.

She got out of the vehicle, took out a big black garbage bag from the backseat, and tossed it into the open dumpster.

From the footage, it was impossible to identify what Avila put in the trash bag.
