A Christmas night shooting in Walton County has left one person dead and another injured, according to police reports.
The incident occurred just after 6 p.m., shaking the Monroe community during the holiday season.
The Monroe Police Department has identified the victims as 35-year-old Tyesha Colley, a beloved teacher and minister, and her husband, 41-year-old Jermaul Colley.
Tyesha was pronounced dead at the scene, while Jermaul was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities have arrested 21-year-old Devin Sullivan in connection with the shooting.
He faces charges of aggravated assault and murder. Police say additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.

Tyesha Colley was a 5th-grade teacher at T.G. Scott Elementary School.
Her career as an educator included roles at Mary Persons High School, Social Circle Middle School, and Easter Seals North Georgia.
A graduate of Mercer University’s Tift College of Education, Tyesha was known for her dedication to students and her strong faith.
She served as a minister at First African Baptist Church in Monroe and was an active member of the community.
