Tricia Covel Lucus ( born 13th July 1962 – age 62 ) is the wife of the late Toby Keith, an American country music singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer.
She was a secretary in an oil company.
Currently, Tricia Lucus is a business woman and working on her own company venture called SwingDish along with daughters Krystal and Shelley, which offers a signature line of high-quality women’s golf clothing.
The fashion line provides functional and stylish women’s golf shorts, shirts, skirts, and accessories.
Lucas married Keith long before fame and fortune came along.
How Tricia Lucus and husband Toby met
After graduating from high school in 1979, Keith took a job as an oil field worker, just like his father, doing “typical roughneck stuff” and making $50,000 per year.
Keith also played and sang at local bars with his band called the Easy Money Band, which performed Alabama-style country-rock when he wasn’t working.
It was during this time that he met Lucus, who was working as an oil company secretary at the time.
Marriage life
Lucas and the late Toby married on March 24, 1984.
This was many years before his country music career took off.
According to Hollywood Life, the pair dated for about three years before saying their I Dos. Earlier this year, Keith’s Instagram account — which appears to be managed by his reps — shared a throwback black and white photo of the pair, alongside the caption “Happy anniversary to Toby and Tricia! Show them some love in the comments.”

While Toby didn’t have any children prior to marrying Tricia, she had one daughter in 1980, Shelley Cover Roawlnd.
After they married Keith adopted her daughter and the couple went on to have two more children together, a daughter in 1985, Krystal and a son in 1997, Stelen.
Krystal is a recording artist and musician, like her dad. She is also married to her husband, Drew.
They share two children together – Kirby and Hensley.
Stelen is an entrepreneur and is involved in numerous businesses including, Sellout Crowd, Hollywood Corners, 405 Burger Bar, and Tequila Chulos.
Stelen is married to his wife, Haley and they share a Siberian Husky named Dodger.
