Trevor Davis: 34-year-old killed after crashing into a tree in Aiken County

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a Williston, South Carolina man.

The driver of the vehicle, Trevor Davis, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:10 a.m., according to a news release.

Just before 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, the coroner’s office responded to Old Barnwell Road, near Candlewood Road, for a single-vehicle wreck.

Davis was traveling south on Old Barnwell Road in a Ford Focus when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to the release.

The coroner’s office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating, according to the release. A toxicology analysis is pending.
