Actress Tonto Dikeh has taken a test for coronavirus, a day after completing her charity donation exercise in the capital, Abuja, that amassed a large crowd.
The mother-of-one since last week has distributed 1,500 sanitizers, hand gloves, and face masks to poor and vulnerable residents of Mpape, Karon-Magiji community and Area 1 IDP Camp.
Tonto, in response to possible exposure to the virus, got tested on Wednesday after coming into contact with hundreds of thousands of people.
The actress was spotted with her son King Andre standing close by, but it is not immediately known if he also tested for Covid-19.
“Happy New Month to the world,” she caption the pictured she shared on Instagram on 1 April.
There is no cure or specific treatment for coronavirus as at yet.
The World Health Organization says that thorough and regular hand-washing is crucial in the fight to avoid infection.
