Houston, TX – A domestic altercation on Saturday morning ended tragically in Harris County, Texas.
According to Sheriff’s deputies, a man shot his girlfriend, Tanasia Bush, at a residence on the 5500 block of Lakota Trail around 5:58 AM.
The preliminary investigation suggests that the couple engaged in a heated argument that escalated into a physical altercation. The woman allegedly stabbed the man, who then retaliated by shooting her.
Both individuals were rushed to the hospital, but the woman succumbed to her injuries. The man, however, was treated and released.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident and has promised to provide further updates as information becomes available.
