The owner of a North Georgia amusement park passed away this week.

Lake Winnepesaukah owner Talley Green died on Thursday.

Green’s sister and business partner Tennyson Dickinson says Green passed away peacefully.

Her cause of death is unknown.

Green’s family opened the park on June 1, 1925, making her and Dickinson the fourth generation of owners.

During Green’s time as owner, Lake Winnie had its largest expansion in its history with the opening of the SOAKya Water Park in 2013.

Dickinson says while details are still being finalized, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 4.
