The Supreme Court of Ghana has cautioned a member of Nana Akuffo Addo’s legal team in court, Lawyer Frank Davies on his interviews which he grants after the election petition case proceedings.
According to the apex court, the interviews violate some ethics of the court.
Lawyer Frank Davies forms a part of the second petitioner’s legal team in court and grants interviews for the second petitioner after proceedings in court.
Touching on his actions in the media, Chief Justice and head of the election petition hearing, Justice Anim Yeboah told lawyer Frank Davies that his actions in the media violates principles of the apex court and cautioned him to be mindful of his interviews moving forward. He also suggested that someone else in the legal team of the second petitioner handles interviews.
“The court was not comfortable with the interviews that you grant outside,” he said.
