Stephen Laurel Boss, an American DJ, freestyle hip hop dancer, choreographer, actor, television producer, and television personality, has died aged 40.
According to TMZ, Stephen Laurel Boss who was Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show DJ died from apparent suicide.
Stephen’s wife Allison Holker is said to have run into an LAPD station on Tuesday after she was left deeply concerned he had left home without his car, which was unlike him, a law enforcement source told the online publication.
A short time later, it has been reported that the police received a call for a shooting at an LA hotel, where Stephen was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Born on September 29, 1982, Stephen was a freestyle hip-hop dancer, choreographer, and television personality.
Stephen first stepped into the spotlight back in 2008, when he wowed with his dance skills on So You Think You Can Dance.
He made the move into the acting world and appeared in several shows before starring as Jason in Step Up, and later Magic Mike XXL.

In 2000, he graduated from Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama and went on to study Dance Performance at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama, and Chapman University

Stephen married Allison in 2013 and they have three children together – Weslie, 14, Maddox, six, and Zaia, three.
They had hosted Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings together on Disney+ since 2018.
