Sarah Quansah is the second wife of the late Ekow Quansah who wa Mfantseman Mp.
The one-week commemoration was held on Thursday, the same day the family announced the date for the final funeral rites.
However, there are reports that the names of Sarah’s two children were not captured in the funeral poster. This revelation came from the camp of Sarah’s sister, who has been vocal and staunch support for her estranged sister.
It is not clear exactly why the family decided to leave out the names of the two children.
This can be seen as an attempt to cast doubt on the legitimacy of Sarah’s marriage to the Mfantseman MP, which has come under intense scrutiny since she emerged as the second wife.
She has however maintained she was rightfully married, going to the extent of showing a marriage certificate.
But developments like this – that her children’s names are left out of the funeral poster – signal that the family is finding it hard coming to terms with the reality that Ekow had a second wife.
