A man killed outside a Nashville bar was likely not the intended target.
The deadly shooting took place in the parking lot of a strip mall outside Illuzion Bar & Lounge, 2510 Murfreesboro Pike, just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Raybon Porter, 25, died at the hospital after being shot in the back while leaning in a car talking with a friend, said Metro Nashville police.
Porter and his friends had been at the bar prior to the shooting.
While police said it is unknown if the gunfire was random or targeted, they said they don’t believe Porter being shot was planned.
No arrests have been made at this time.
