Broadcast journalist, Zoe Abu-Baidoo, has detailed how National Security operatives tricked her into thinking she was chatting with Caleb Kudah before storming Citi FM/TV premises in an attempt to arrest her.
National Security operatives on Tuesday, May 11, arrested her colleague Caleb Kudah for filming some abandoned cars procured by MASLOC that had been parked at the Ministry of National Security for several years.
Zoe Abu-Baidoo, a journalist with Citi FM/TV, was targeted by the operatives after Kudah had sent her some of the files he captured at the ministry via WhatsApp.
The National Security operatives besieged Citi FM/Citi TV premises on Tuesday, May 11, in an attempt to arrest Zoe Abu-Baidoo, but the management of the Ghanaian media house prevented the operatives from detaining Zoe and went along with her to the National Security Ministry where she was interrogated.
Narrating her side of the incident on The Point of View on Citi TV hosted by Bernard Avle, Abu-Baidoo revealed that the National Security operatives deceived her into thinking that she was chatting with her colleague Caleb Kudah, who they had detained and forcefully seized his mobile phone to communicate with her.
