A 38 year old man identified as Jay Ledford lost his life after crashing into a pole on his motorcycle in Madison Township Sunday evening, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s office.
Jay Ledford was driving a 2022 Honda motorcycle southeast on West Alexandria Road when the crash occurred.
The man drove off the side of the road and hit a pole.
Butler County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol was called to the scene near the 6400 block of West Alexandria Road in Madison Township around 7:36 p.m.
The motorcycle driver was the only person involved in the accident.
He was taken to Atrium Hospital but died after arriving, the Madison Township Fire Department said.
