Ghana U23 star, Majeed Ashimeru has revealed the impact of Erling Haaland’s move to Dortmund on him.
Majeed Ashimeru was teammates with the Norwegian until his January move to Borussia Dortmund.
However, Ashimeru has revealed how much of an inspiration he draws from that move and how it has encouraged him to work harder and earn a big money move himself.
Speaking to Joy Sports, Ashimeru revealed how pumped up he is.
“His move has motivated everyone at the club,” For the past few years when you look at the players they produced to the big clubs, it’s amazing, and this is something that motivates me,”he said.
“I know if I work hard I will get this opportunity, so it is something that motivates me and also the people here. When I work hard the chances will come because it is a great club,”he added.
“It is really a developmental club and when you are here you will be very well developed,”he concluded.
Majeed Ashimeru was part of the Ghana U23 squad that failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. He was prevented from playing in the U23 AFCON in Egypt Last November but remained a member of the squad.
he has made 16 appearances for Salzburg this season, scoring 3 goals.
