BBC star and This Morning guest Maddy Anholt has died aged 35.
Following Maddy’s sad passing, her family have now asked for donations for Womens Aid, a charity very close to the late BBC star’s heart. “You might consider a contribution to Maddy’s favourite charity, Women’s Aid. Maddy was a powerful advocate for women’s rights and on publication of her debut book, she was invited to become an Ambassador for Women’s Aid, which she carried out with characteristic energy and humour,” her family penned.
Anholt had been diagnosed with a ‘rare and aggressive’ form of brain cancer after the birth of her daughter Opal, just last year – but who was her husband?

Maddy sadly leaves behind her husband Ben Anholt, who “accompanied” her “every step of the way” in her cancer battle.
She was also mum to their baby girl, Opal.
The couple’s daughter was born in 2022, and it was shortly after her birth that Maddy’s cancer was diagnosed.
