A MacDill service member was found dead at her off-base home in Tampa on Monday, according to the Air Force base.
Tech. Sgt. Felicia Singleton, a U.S. Air Force airman from the 6th Security Forces Squadron, was found by law enforcement.
However, the details surrounding the airman’s death are under investigation.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our teammate,” said Lt. Col. Eddie Clements, 6th Security Forces Squadron commander. “Our hearts go out to her family, friends, members of the 6th Security Forces Squadron, and all who were close to Tech. Sgt. Singleton.”
“Every single Airman is an integral part of our community. Our entire Team 6 family is shaken and saddened by the sudden loss of Tech. Sgt. Singleton, and we mourn alongside her loved ones,” Col. Ed Szczepanik, 6th Air Refueling Wing and MacDill Air Force Base commander said.
