Eugene Nyavor
Born and raised in North Carolina, Luke Combs is an American country music singer and songwriter whose career began as a child, with his most famous performance taking place at Carnegie Hall.
Luke Combs dropped out of college to concentrate on his music career and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he released an extended play titled The Way She Rides in 2014.

Luke Combs attended A C Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina, and later attended Appalachian State University in Boone.
While attending Appalachian State University, he organized his first country music show, playing at the Parthenon Cafe.
In his fourth year of college, Combs dropped out and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue his dream of becoming a country music star.
Career
Combs released his first extended play (EP), ‘The Way She Rides,’ in February 2014.
His second EP, titled ‘Can I Get an Outlaw,’ was released July 1, 2014, and Combs’ popularity soared after his debut single titled ‘Hurricane’ hit number 46 on Billboard’s ‘Hot Country Songs’ chart.
This One’s for You, his third extended play, was released in November.
A deal was executed with ‘Sony Music Nashville,’ and his single ‘Hurricane’ was then re-released via ‘Columbia Nashville.
‘This One’s for You’ was Combs’ first studio album released after he signed with Columbia Nashville.
The album landed at number five on the US Billboard 200 chart and number one on the US Top Country Album chart, respectively.
During the 2017 CMT Music Awards, Combs received the Breakthrough Video of the Year nomination for Hurricane, his music video.
At the 2017 Country Music Association Awards, he was also named New Artist of the Year. The music video for the second single from his debut album, ‘When It Rains It Pours,’ also came out that year.
Combs won the ‘New Country Artist of the Year’ award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards while Hurricane was nominated for the ‘Country Song of the Year’ award.
The prestigious ‘Grammy Awards’ awarded Luke Combs the ‘Best New Artist’ award in 2019.
