Los Angeles rapper SaySoTheMac, a member of the Stinc Team, died on December 19, 2024, at the age of 30.
Reports indicate his death was caused by an overdose.
SaySoTheMac, born in South Central, California, in 1994, gained recognition for his distinct West Coast sound and songs like “Halfway Hoes” and “Day She Met a Pimp.” He was active on platforms such as Spotify and SoundCloud, connecting deeply with fans since 2019.
Tributes poured in online as fans and fellow artists remembered him.

“RIP SaysoTheMac, an essential part of the Stinc Team wave that revolutionized LA. A master of slick-talking, cold-blooded but nervous pimp rap – somewhere between Suga Free & Dru Down. An undeniably talented original who would’ve been a bigger star had those same stars aligned.
Three years ago, fellow Stinc Team member Drakeo the Ruler also passed away on the same day.
SaySoTheMac’s music and influence remain a significant part of Los Angeles’s hip-hop culture.
The Stinc Team, which also includes artists like Ralfy the Plug and Ketchy the Great, has been instrumental in shaping Los Angeles’s modern hip-hop scene.
