Ladesion Riley, an upcoming American rapper who raps about robbery has been arrested for allegedly robbing an ATM technician.
Ladesion Riley, popularly known as Jugg God, was one of four people charged with allegedly restraining an ATM technician at a Bank of America in Nashville while he was servicing the machine on Monday, according to the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department.
The other suspects are Darius Dugas, 27, Sashondre Dugas, 32, and Christopher Alton, 27.
The four alleged thieves are from Houston.
According to police, two members of the group approached the technician from behind around 10:40 a.m. and “told him not to do anything stupid and hand over the money.”
They took the money and fled in vehicles.
One of the getaway cars, a Hyundai Elantra, had been rented through Hertz, cops said.
Using aviation units, police tracked the Hyundai and a maroon Jeep that accompanied a Motel 6 in Dickson, Tennessee.
Detectives watched as the group loaded the Jeep with what appeared to be cash.
Police said they then saw Riley, Sashondre Dugas and Darius Dugas drive off in the vehicle after leaving the motel, while Alton drove off in the Hyundai.
Shortly after the suspects took off in the two cars, the police intervened and arrested the four with the help of the FBI.
Money was recovered during the arrest, officers said.
The four face federal charges and the FBI is investigating whether they committed similar robberies elsewhere.
