Khazar Momeni has been identified as the sister of Nima Momeni, the suspect arrested for murder of Cash App founder Bob Lee.
Khazar Momeni, known to be the wife of a prominent local plastic surgeon is said to have introduced the pair – and owns property both near where Lee was stabbed, and in the suburb where he lived with his family before moving to Miami last year.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Lee recently became ‘acquainted’ with Nima’s sister Khazar Momeni
Yesterday, police searched an apartment she owns in a luxury building just a few blocks from where the stabbing took place on April 4.
She also has property in Mill Valley, a bayside suburb of San Francisco, where Lee used to live with his family.
Khazar’s home is 4.5miles from the property Bob shared with his father until they moved to Miami in October last year.
Police say Lee and Momeni had been driving in Momeni’s car moments earlier.
They had a fight which led to the stabbing, they said, and Lee tried to run for safety.
It’s unclear where they had been earlier in the night – the stabbing happened at around 2.30am.
Lee, a 43-year-old father-of-two, was only in San Francisco for a tech conference.
He had moved from Mill Valley, an exclusive suburb where Khazar and her husband also own a home, to Miami in October last year.
