A woman is dead after being shot in the parking lot of a gas station overnight in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Police Department says the woman, identified as 22-year-old Tykeedra Henderson, was found inside a vehicle at the scene.

This morning, just after 1 a.m., KCPD officers were dispatched on a shooting call at a QuickTrip located at 31st Street and Bell Street.
