A man shot and mortally wounded in south Shreveport late Sunday night has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
The coroner’s office says 18-year-old Kameron Martin, was shot outside his apartment in the 8900 block of Brookwood Drive in the South Park neighborhood around 11:20 p.m.
He was taken to Willis-Knighton South hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:10 a.m. Monday.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
His death marks the 50th homicide in Caddo Parish to date in 2024 and the 47th inside the city limits of Shreveport.
An autopsy was ordered.
