Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), current Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has emerged as the new General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party.
Justin Frimpong Koduah was elected to the position during the NPP’s National Delegates Conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Legal practitioner polled 2,857 votes to beat Mr. John Boadu who obtained 2,524 votes out of the total 5,556 votes cast.
Former Mayor of Tamale Metropolitan Assembly, Iddrisu Musah followed Mr. Boadu with a distant 104 votes followed by Frederick Opare Ansah, 50 votes while last but not least, Ramseyer A. Agyeman-Prempeh garnered a paltry 8 votes.
John Boadu has been serving in such position since he was appointed as acting General Secretary in 2015 and later elected as a substantive scribe for the NPP.
Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua will serve as the General Secretary of the party for the next four years.
JFK is the former Deputy Regional Youth Organiser in 2010 and a member of the NPP Ashanti Regional campaign team in 2008. He also served as a member of the National Youth Wing of the party as a Chairman of the Legal Committee of the youth wing.
