On 27th September, 2022, the DA for Tulsa County in Oklahoma was stabbed in his own home by his own daughter Jennifer Kunzweiler, who has been arrested.
Jennifer Kunzweiler was taken into police custody on suspicion of stabbing her father, District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler, at his home.
Steve Kunzweiler, 60, a father of three daughters – Sandra, 32, Jennifer, 30, and Jackie – was attacked around 3pm.
He was awake and talking as he was taken to hospital, and is expected to survive.
Jennifer Kunzweiler has a mental condition
Police said Jennifer, the second born of Steve Kunzweiler, had ‘a mental condition’, KTUL reported, but did not provide details.
Investigators said after stabbing her father, his daughter stabbed herself.
She was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Details of other daughters
His oldest daughter, Sandra, is 32, married to an attorney, Ryan, and living in New York City working as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley.
Jackie is a student at the University of Oklahoma.
