Veteran actress Belinda Naa Ode Oku known by showbiz name Adwoa Smart has made a shocking revelation of what she has acquired in her long years of acting in Ghana and has revealed that she has acquired nothing from acting.
The actress made this shocking revelation whiles in an interview with Showbiz Review’s Akwasi Aboagye over the weekend.
Many would have thought the veteran actress who started acting in the 80s and has since featured in a huge number of Ghanaian movies and TV series would be boosting of wealth after a long stay in the Industry.
The actress however said otherwise and disclosed that she and a number of her colleagues who started acting in the early days have very little to boast of mainly because they were given very little for their efforts. She went further to say she could only take care of her bills and other expenses but couldn’t acquire a property in her name.
“During our days, we weren’t paid as much as they are getting now. The money was literally hand to mouth”, she said.
