At the moment we can’t confirm if Mitten Squad is dead or not.
However, news of Wilson’s passing broke via an obituary for him posted on the website of Michigan funeral director, Molnar Funeral Home, with some initial confusion arising due to the fact Wilson often referred to himself by the name Paul in his videos.
As of writing, his channel, which mainly revolved around interesting challenge runs through the likes of Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Skyrim, has just over 1.4 million subscribers.
Mitten Squad Illness
The influencer, who signs off his YouTube updates with the name Paul, shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed on X, formerly known as Twitter, in November 2022.
He said: “Nothing better than spending Thanksgiving at the hospital after being forced into arm/leg restraints and put into a f**king diaper against your will.”
Trying to reassure fans, he said: “I’m okay all things considered though.”
Paul said that the doctors told him that there wasn’t an “insignificant risk” that he would go into a coma.
He also shared a health update on his YouTube page three weeks ago.
He said: “It’s Thanksgiving today and I’m not dead, despite some rumors that I am.”
But, he warned fans that they might not see a video until 2024.
He said: “I will upload again, eventually. Just not until I feel like I can maintain some sort of a schedule, even if it’s only 1 video per month.”
