I Was Given GHC 20 For My Part On The AZONTO FIESTA Collaboration With Sarkodie & Appietus – Kesse

Singer turned gospel musician, Michael Kesse Frimpong popular by stage name Kesse has made a shocking revelation of how much he was paid when he collaborated with rapper Sarkodie and music producer Appietus and has said that he was paid Ghs20.

The singer made this known in an interview with Accra based radio station Asempa Fm.

Azonto Fiesta‘, a song owned by award winning rapper Sarkodie hit the airwaves some years ago and was an instant jam. Everywhere across the country and even outside the shores of the country, the song made its way as one of the topmost ‘azonto’ songs, topping music chats.

In the said interview monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, Kesse shockingly disclosed that people considered him rich after he collaborated on the hit song, but the interesting thing was that he was paid Ghs20 for that collaboration which he did. He even added that the money was given to him to buy fuel since he had run short of it when making his way for the video shoot.

“A lot of people think I made a lot of money when I featured on Azonto Fiesta. The truth is that I was given Ghs20 and that was even for fuel. It was when we were shooting the video for song. I ran out of fuel on my way to the place and told Appietus and that was when he gave me Ghs20 to buy fuel”, he said.
