Black Stars midfielder Alfred Duncan has spoken highly of his Inter days and the many valuable lessons learned as a youngster.
Alfred Duncan was speaking to Italian news outlet calciomercato.com, the Ghanaian international spoke about his time with the Italian giants and how it helped shape his career to the point it is at right now.
“Inter was something unexpected but beautiful, a very important club, at the top in Italy and Europe, I was able to train with formidable players, an experience that gave me and allowed me to grow a lot,” he told Calciomercato.com.
On the legends he looks up to,The 27-year old Ghanaian International went ahead to speak on how much he idolises some players he looks up to.
“Before I arrived in Italy, I used to watch Xabi Alonso, but Guti was the player I liked the most given his incredible quality with his feet. When I arrived in Italy, I had the opportunity to train with Thiago Motta who played exemplary football in his role.”
Alfred Duncan,now at Fiorentina, started his career in the Inter youth setup before moving to Livorno, Sassuolo, Sampdoria and now, Fiorentina.
He is also a full Ghanaian International with his last appearance coming in a 2-0 win over South Africa in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
