Contrary to the widely held impression Dancehall atiste, Shatta Wale is gaining notoriety in flaunting his assets, he has said that he does not flaunt his material gains.
According to him, exposing his wealth and other assets he has on social media is just a drive to motivate Ghanaian youth that it is possible to move from a zero to a hero.
Shatta Wale has over the weeks been condemned by colleagues and some sections of social media users for displaying his wealth on social media and insulting his colleagues of not working to achieve their dreams.
“What I do is not flaunting but encouragement. Davido bought a private jet some weeks ago and how did people get to know about it? He shared it to encourage others so that is not called flaunting.”
He indicated that some Ghanaians artistes who are aware of the reality but have failed to acknowledge it should leave the industry because they are blocking the shine of those behind them.
