Medikal has stated categorically that he can’t leave his home label. AMG Business even if he sets other business ventures in music.
News broke out that the rapper had established his own record label, ‘Beyond Kontrol’ and has already signed an artiste. This sparked wild rumours on social media that suggested the rapper was set to part ways with his record label AMG Business.
Clearing the issue in an interview with Yfm’s Reverend Eskine, Medikal stated that he cannot do that to his boss Criss Waddle after all these years since he started with him and built everything with him. He established that he owes everything to AMG Business and is just setting something up for himself in the music space which also comes under AMG Business.
“I can’t leave AMG. If I leave AMG, it’s like I’m leaving myself. I grew up with AMG. Myself and Waddle, we built AMG. Waddle being my boss came up with AMG and he put me on so after putting me on, I can’t just leave because it’s something that we built together,” he said.
