Accra Hearts of Oak are close to securing the signature of Nkoranza Warriors Midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie in a major boost to the Phobians’ midfield.
With the mid season transfer window opening in the last two days, several teams in the Ghana Premier League have been looking to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season. Emmanuel Sarkodie seems to be the man for the Phobians.
Hearts have tracked the young 23 year old midfielder for some time now and after a meeting between General Manager Frank Nelson and Warriors’ officials, the deal looks close.
The young midfielder has been highly rated for sometime now and has taken the division one league by storm this season, racking up 8 Man of the Match awards in 13 games.
Deadly from set pieces, he looks to add some bite to the Hearts of Oak midfield and compliment the efforts of Emmanuel Nettey, Frederick Ansah Botchway and Benjamin Effutu.
Hearts of Oak are looking to climb up the Ghana Premier League table with their 4-0 victory against Accra Great Olympics in the Mantse Derby doing great service to them in that regard.
Up until then, the Phobians had found goalscoring very difficult. With more of such additions in attack, the Phobians will look to come back stronger when the league resumes afer the emergency break due to the outbreak of the CONVID 19 virus.
