The Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed the headmistress of the Achimota School to admit two first-year students with dreadlocks who reported to the school to begin their Senior High School education.
This comes after the Executive Director of Education Think Tank, Africa Education Watch condemned the actions of the Achimota-based public Senior High School and called on the GES to review its code of conduct.
According to the Achimota School Management, it base on the Ghana Education Service code of conduct refused the Rastafarians admission.

But, the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Saturday, March 20, 2021, in a communique has directed Achimota School to immediately admit the 2 first-year students.
