Let find out more about Adam Alagiah and Matthew Alagiah.
Who are George Alagiah children, Adam Alagiah and Matthew Alagiah?
George Alagiah and Frances Robathan have two children – Adam and Matthew.
Adam Alagiah is 35 years old and Matthew Alagiah is 31 years old.
Adam was born in Zimbabwe and the younger, Matt, in the NHS delivery room at Homerton Hospital.
When talking about being recognized as a celebrity, George said his sons keep him down to earth.
“It’s sobering to have your kids tell you, when you’re dropping them off at school, ‘Dad, don’t get out of the car!'”
In an interview with guardian, the late George Alagiah about his family values and indicated that his children are amazing.
Below is what he said about his children “Adam and Matthew, are amazing guys. If I were their age, I’d like to be their friend. The elder one is doing international development and I think Matthew could be a writer. We’re in that transition period that other parents worry about: the loss of control and so on. But I cannot wait until they’re the ones driving the car and I’m the one snoozing in the back. There is a Tamil proverb where a father waits for the day when he walks into a room and people say: this is So-and-So’s father. The minute your children are the reference point, you know you’ve done your job.”
