The Gaynor McCown High School community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Marcus Nuamah, the captain of the school’s basketball team, who tragically passed away on March 19, 2025.
Marcus Nuamah, a senior at Gaynor McCown High School, was a standout player for the Dragons’ varsity basketball team.
The 19-year-old point guard had multiple 20-point games this season and achieved a double-double in January, recording 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 steals—a testament to his skill and determination.
