Rita Dominic’s husband is a 50-year-old media executive and founder of Folio Media Group, a multi-media company that owns Daily Times Nigeria, one of the nation’s oldest and most popular newspapers.
He acquired the newspaper in 2007 under Folio Communications after it was shut down by the government under its previous owners due to bankruptcy.
The group’s subsidiaries include Folio Communications PLC, Times Multimedia, 1st October and Folio Investment and Trading Company.
Through these subsidiaries, the company owns the Daily Times of Nigeria newspaper, the Miss Nigeria pageant, The Times Heroes Award, and Nigeria Our Heritage Grand book.
Education
Fidelis Anosike, who hails from Umueri, Anambra state, started Folio Communication at the age of 24 after graduating from the University of Benin with a degree in Creative Arts.
He was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Folio Communications before resigning from the board in June 2020, paving the way for Aliu, Akoshiketo becomes the new Chairman of the company.

He was born to a police officer father who died at the age of 52 and a mother who was a trader. He has four brothers and three sisters.
