As the divorce proceedings unfolded, Lindsay Shiver is said to have devised a sinister plan to eliminate her estranged husband with the help of her lover, Terrance Bethel, and an alleged hitman named Faron Newbold.
The authorities claim that the trio conspired together with a common purpose to commit the heinous act on July 16, 2023.
The evidence that led to their apprehension was discovered during the investigation of a burglary at Grabber’s Bar and Grill, where the police found incriminating WhatsApp messages on the suspect’s phone outlining the murder plot.
Bahamian police wasted no time in arresting Lindsay Shiver, Terrance Bethel, and Faron Newbold, swiftly taking them into custody.
They were subsequently flown to Nassau and appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley in court on Friday.
During the hearing, they were not required to enter a plea, and they are now being held in jail until their next court appearance scheduled for October 5.
