Ghanaian rapper, Nana Wiafe Asante-Mensah best known in the entertainment circles as Asem has gone hard on entertainment journalists in Ghana.
According to the rapper, most of the entertainment journalists in Ghana are unprofessional at what they do.
Asem has been very outspoken for some weeks now after he went hard on colleague rapper Sarkodie with series of freestyles and tweets. His latest rant is however in relation to Gh One’s Serwaa Amihere’s interview with Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah which has got Ghanaians talking for a while now. Many Ghanaians have called out the Gh One’s news anchor and presenter after what they described as an unprofessional interview on the side of Serwaa Amihere.
In a tweet sighted by ghlinks.com.gh, the rapper explained that there is a misconception of who a journalist and a presenter really is. He said some media personalities who parade themselves as journalists are presenters, explaining that a lot of journalists are worse in Ghana, with entertainment journalists being the worst of them.
“Most in that town confuse tv presenters/news anchors with journalists. I can count on my fingers the number of good ethical professional journalists in that town few. The entertainment aspect de3 most of dem dema head die. Nana Aba is a tv presenter, Kojo Oppong is a pro. ASEM”, he tweeted.
