Emefa Akosua Adeti Profile and Biography
Born Emefa Akosua Adeti, is a graduate of Takoradi Polytechnic where she studied Marketing also, she is a proud alumnus of GIMPA. She hails from Bakpa in the Volta region of Ghana.
Many would ask “how did a Marketing student find herself in the entertainment industry?”
My next point answers the question.
Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2012 winner
Ghana’s Most Beautiful is a beauty pageant TV program that educates Ghanaians and the global community on the various cultural values and heritage of the sixteen regions in Ghana. The program is organized by TV3 and its media partners.
In 2012, our very own Emefa Adeti emerged winner of the competition, making waves all over the country. She took upon herself several projects under the Umbrella of her “EMEFA HELP GHANA” foundation, where she started donating to the poor and needy, commissioning electricity and clean water projects in the Volta Region.
Actress in TV Series
After her prowess in the competition, Emefa discovered a new talent in acting. She featured in a TV series dubbed “Office Palaver” where she played the role of a marketing assistant in an office full of confusion.
The series also featured Kofi Adjorlolo, Pascaline Edwards, Magdalene Mensah, Vincent McCauley, and Albert Bonney Aware.
She played her role so well that the writer and executive producer of the series, Edem Tamakloe, described Emefa as a fantastic actress.
According to him, “it is not easy for an up-coming actress to act professionally”, but Emefa proved him wrong.
He explained that Emefa acted well though she was given her script only a few days to the start of the production.
