A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, has claimed the life of a Georgiana man.
Eli Cole Blackburn, 19, was fatally injured when the 2000 Toyota Tacoma he was driving left the roadway and overturned.
Blackburn was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Mount Pisgah Road, approximately 11 miles west of Greenville, in Butler County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
