Under fire Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Edward Nii Odoom and Elmina Sharks coach, Yaw Acheampong have both been nominated for the Manager of the Month Award for the month of February.
Odoom, who is rumored to be walking on thin ice at the moment has been nominated for the manager of the month accolade.
Hearts of Oak were unbeaten in the month of February with their last loss in all competitions dating back to the Super 2 clash on 26th of January.
However, disapointing draws in their last two games, away to Karela and at home to Elmina sharks have led to the fans mounting pressure on coach Odoom and calling for his head.
Odoom however faces stiff competition from Elmina Sharks’ Yaw Acheampong, who has led a revolution at the Elmina club as they recorded brilliant wins against Chelsea and Dwarfs.
Also on the list is Henrik Lehm of Inter Allies, Ignatius Fosu of Eleven Wonders and WAFA’s Dr. Prosper Nartey whose side is beginning to recover it’s brilliant home form they have been known for.
The Player and manager of the month awards will be announced on 10th March and presented to the appropriate winners.
The manager of the month takes home a NASCO television amongst other supplementary prizes.
