Earth Tremor Ghana
Yesterday, individuals in Accra, encountered some shaking of the earth which they depicted as earth tremors maybe in light of the fact that they had accepted the magnitude couldn’t bring on any harms.
However, a Senior Seismologist speaking to Citi FM revealed that what happened can be depicted as a little quake because of the extent of what he calls the primary shake being 4.2.
The Seismologist clarified that the focal point was around Dansoman, about some 300m towards the ocean.
He further uncovered that this extent, 4.2 was very critical thus it was looked about the entire of the inland of Accra and its environs.

These are some careful steps to take during a seismic tremor:
Stay calm! If you’re indoors, stay inside. If you’re outside, stay outside.
If you’re indoors, stand against a wall near the center of the building, stand in a doorway, or crawl under heavy furniture (a desk or table). Stay away from windows and outside doors.
If you’re outdoors, stay in the open away from power lines or anything that might fall. Stay away from buildings (stuff might fall off the building or the building could fall on you).
Don’t use matches, candles, or any flame. Broken gas lines and fire don’t mix.
If you’re in a car, stop the car and stay inside the car until the earthquake stops.
Don’t use elevators (they’ll probably get stuck anyway).
