Former Asante Kotoko forward Ernest Papa Arko has advised Dr. Kyei on Felix Annan and Kwame Baah saga with the captain of the side not starting a Premier league game since Matchday 5.
Ernest Papa Arko, who played for Kotoko in the 90s was speaking about this when asked in an interview with Otec FM in Kumasi.
“I don’t know the relationship between Kotoko’s management and coach Maxwell Konadu. They (management) should be very careful on how they settle this issue because they can undermine Kwame Baah if they decide to comment much about it. He (Kwame Baah) is also a goalkeeper of the team and he is performing well looking at the team’s position in the ongoing season” Papa Arko told OTEC Fm
“The coach still says Felix Annan is his number one but we don’t see him in action so if there is a rift between the coach and Felix Dr. Kyei should come in and settle it amicably” He added
Felix Annan has been with Kotoko for 6 seasons now and was recently named captain after the departure of former captain, Amos Frimpong.
The goalkeeper raised concerns after taking to his twitter page to react to missing out on the latest black stars call up. Many believe he missed out due to his lack of game time with Felix tweeting “Thank you”
Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu still insists Felix Annan is his number 1 and we wait to see if he will return to the starting 11.
