New details have been released regarding the double murder that happened in Bourbon County on Thursday.
A warrant of arrest states that 19-year-old Christopher Taulbee reportedly shot and killed 20-year-old Dixie Brainard and then allegedly stabbed an unknown male victim and hit him with a baseball bat.
According to the warrant, afterwards, Taulbee told a witness of his actions, picked them up, and brought them to the scene.
The warrant states that the witness told police that when arriving at the scene, they observed Taulbee “strike the unknown male victim, who was still alive, numerous times in the head with a baseball bat.”
Further, the warrant notes that Brainard and the victim were “in a dating relationship.”
