‘Date rush’ is a TV dating programme that invites singles together to find their suitable match.
It is a 13-week show where a bachelor tries his best to land a date with one of the featured maidens each week.
To get a date, a bachelor must attract the ladies’ attention and make them want to go out on a date with him.
Although Date Rush is a matchmaking program, it has also produced a number of talented young Ghanaians.
Some have pursued acting, media, and other creative careers.

“I think there is even a bigger Fatima, Ali and all the people who made Date rush big last year. And also this year, we are going six months again we are starting January and we ending July.”he noted.

Season 6 of Ghana’s most popular reality TV show, “Date Rush,” will premiere on TV3 on Sunday 16 January at 8 p.m.

Date Rush has developed a new award scheme called “Viewers Choice Awards”.
The awards scheme’s maiden edition event took place in July 2021 and saw Dzato and Grace winning Best Couple of the Season as well as Most Trended Male and Most Popular Male.
As for Fatima, the ‘gal dem boss’, she won Most Popular Female and Most Trended Female.
