On Wednesday morning, at around 1:30am, firefighters and paramedics along with Tarrant County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 8700 block of Boat Club Road near W. Bailey Boswell Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found a pickup truck had crashed into a utility pole.

The driver, a 26-year-old Dalton Ingram, was rescued from the vehicle.

First responders administered life-saving measures, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Eagle Mountain Fire Department posted a Facebook message, identifying the victim as a member of their Fire Department.

“It is with great sadness that announce the death of a friend and member of our department. Dalton Ingram died in an off-duty accident in the early morning hours. We ask that you please keep his family, friends and members of the department in your thoughts and prayers during this terrible time. We’re going to miss your dad jokes and fun-loving spirit that always filled the room. Rest easy, we’ll take it from here. RIP #2187”
