In response to Craig’s passing, Angela Shiver launched a GiveSendGo fundraiser to support his family during this difficult time.

Thanks to the community’s generosity, over $20,000 has already been raised.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Bryn, and their six cherished children: Keenan, Elliot, Lucy, Juliette, and twins Zeke and Silas.

Together, Craig and Bryn shared a deep passion for bringing the message of Jesus Christ to university students.

They believed in helping students—whether believers or not—develop a close, personal relationship with God, as reflected in John 17:3.

They were particularly driven by the fact that less than 2% of people worldwide attend college, yet these students represent the next generation of leaders.

This conviction led them to focus their ministry on what they called the “Powerful Percent.”

After 14 years of missionary work in francophone Africa, they transitioned to serving at the University of New Mexico.

While they hoped to return to Africa, they trusted that God had placed them in the U.S. for a reason.

Craig and his family previously served as long-term missionaries in Ivory Coast before returning to the U.S. in 2022 to address their son’s medical needs.

Even after stepping away from the mission field, Craig’s dedication to serving the Lord never wavered.
