New report reaching us indicates that Nashville stagehand named Thomas Roberts has been shot dead by his wife, Christine Roberts.
According to dailymail.co.uk, Christine Roberts, who is 72 years old, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide for allegedly shooting and killing her husband Thomas Roberts, 68, at their home on Howard Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee.
‘Gifted’ lighting director Roberts was found lying on his porch with a single gunshot wound to his chest.
He died at the scene.
What happened?
At 8pm on Sunday, officers from the East Precinct responded to a call, and according to reports, Christine allegedly confessed to shooting her husband due to his infidelity.
No additional information was provided regarding the shooting incident or the alleged affair. On July 11, the police confirmed the recovery of a pistol at the scene.
Her bail has been set at $100,000.
Speaking about the shooting, one neighbor told WKRN: ‘It sounded like it could have been a firework and that’s what we thought it was, and then the police showed up with all the lights and everything and then I saw him on the front porch.
‘It’s such a dichotomy based on how sweet and wonderful everything is and then this happens, it’s like shocking.
‘I don’t even really know where to put it in my mind, I really don’t.’
