Multiple -award-winning American musician and entrepreneur, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar popularly known in showbiz circles as Cardi B, has finally reacted to Rosemond Brown 90 day’s sentencing.
Cardi B who became friends with the controversial social media personality on her visit to Ghana also added her voice to condemn the punishment meted out to her friend.
Cardi B described the jail term as a harsh form of punishment to give to a first offender whose only crime was posting naked pictures which is something common in America.
In a post, one Twitter user with the name AfroMusik TV tagged Cardi B asking her view on Akuapem Poloo’s sentence.
The post read: @imcardib your twinee in Ghana, Akuapem Poloo has been sentenced to 90 days in imprisonment for posting naked photos together with his son on her son’s birthday on June 2020.”
Not long Cardi B replied, she wrote: I seen a lot of Americans do photoshoots like that. Even tho it is not my style I don’t think she was going for sexual more going the natural idea. I think jail is a bit harsh. Maybe social media probation or community service.
