The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a 30-year-old woman identified as Ashley Chappell was found dead near the Collier Park Recreation Center on Saturday morning.
Authorities received a call around 5 a.m. reporting an injured person at 3691 Collier Drive in northwest Atlanta.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Ashley Chappell.
The cause of death remains undetermined, and the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating.
Police have not yet released any information about the circumstances surrounding Chappell’s death or whether foul play is suspected.
